Editorial Policy

1. Accuracy and Verification

We strive to verify information before publication using credible sources, official statements, documents, and reliable reporting. Where facts remain uncertain, we aim to make that uncertainty clear.

2. Responsible Use of Sources

We may refer to official announcements, news agencies, third-party feeds, public records, and other publications. Sources should be identified where appropriate. We respect copyright and seek permission or appropriate licences when required.

3. Fairness and Impartiality

We aim to present news fairly and distinguish factual reporting from opinion, commentary, allegations, and promotional material. Serious allegations should be handled carefully, with relevant context and verification.

4. Viral Content and Social Media

Trending posts, viral videos, and social media claims are not automatically treated as verified facts. We aim to check the source and context before presenting them as factual news.

5. Original Content and Attribution

As our publishing operations develop, we aim to increase original reporting, interviews, explainers, features, and editorial articles. Third-party material will be handled with appropriate attribution and permissions where required.

6. Corrections and Updates

If we identify a significant factual error, we aim to correct it promptly and update the article where appropriate. Readers and affected parties may report errors by emailing info@virulworld.com with the relevant URL and supporting evidence.

7. Privacy and Respect

We aim to respect personal privacy, avoid unnecessary disclosure of sensitive information, and exercise care when reporting on children, victims, and vulnerable individuals, subject to applicable law and legitimate public-interest considerations.

8. Editorial Independence

We aim to keep editorial decisions distinct from advertising and commercial interests. Sponsored or promotional material should be identified appropriately.

9. Accountability

We welcome constructive feedback from readers, publishers, and the public. Editorial practices may be reviewed periodically to improve accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
